Boost Your Phone's Storage With SanDisk Wireless Flash Drive

SanDisk's new wireless mobile flash drive makes it easy to share and access content between smartphones, tablets, and PCs, but can also give your phone a quick storage boost.

The new SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick promises the freedom to save, transfer, and view files from any Wi-Fi-enabled device, including iOS and Android, Amazon Fire tablets, Macs, and Windows PCs. You can also plug it into your PC via USB for faster transfers.

Turn on the device and open the compatible mobile app to transfer or stream content to three devices at once. This could come in handy if you have limited storage on your phone (like the 16GB iPhone, for example) but want to access a high-definition movie, more music, or your latest vacation photos.

"We live in an era where we are truly living a mobile lifestyle," Dinesh Bahal, vice president of SanDisk product marketing, said in a statement. "We use our devices to capture life's moments, and work in a way that was never before possible—all of which has created the need for a new generation of mobile storage."

The app is free to download in the App Store, Google Play store, and Amazon Appstore.

"The SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick is designed to give people a simple, intuitive way to save and access all of the great content they create and consume across multiple devices, without breaking the bank," Bahal said.

The device is available in capacities of 16GB, 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB from Amazon, BestBuy.com, and SanDisk.com for $29.99, $39.99, $59.99, and $99.99, respectively, with a one-year warranty.

In November, SanDisk introduced the iXpand—the first USB flash drive designed specifically for iPhone and iPad.
